Something old, something new

Here I am. I'm officially living in Kansas again and officially a full time student (again), which is shocking to a lot of those around me and simply overwhelming for myself.  Although I know (or possibly knew) how to be a student, it's obvious that being a grad student comes with a bit more academic responsibility.  Then you consider being in class close to 35 hours per week and you have a full time job.

'Everything is happening so fast' is the refrain that seems to be on repeat in my head.  It's hard for me to see the forest through the trees or something like that.  Last Monday as I sat in the new student orientation at Cleveland I found myself still hanging on the fence as to my degree of certainty regarding this 'life changing' decision.  Oh, wait, I already made that decision, or did I?

Somewhere, Bulgaria

Regardless, I attended all eight of my classes last week. By Friday I was still struggling just to name all of  those classes, not a good sign.  On the other hand, I am confident that I can get it all together and do well if that is what I want to do.  That is what it comes down to: want, desire, will.  You know, all those things that  somehow lead to motivation.

As it goes, I am trying to decipher where my motivation is coming from, etc. etc. (over thinking everything). Besides that there are some legitimate questions I'm asking myself and would like to ask other Chiropractic students; however, I'm holding off on that until I get know some of them a bit better.  After all, who really wants to talk about student loans and debt, which in my case will be a six digit number by the time I graduate, which goes against my philosophy of keeping things simple and paying for things I can afford, which somehow restricts my idea of personal get the point.

In the end it's all good, and I just want to get the word out that I will be updating this blog from time to time.  Although school stuff might not be as interesting as my travel stories, I hope to give a raw take on being a Chiropractic student and everything that comes along with it.  Also, don't worry, that whole traveling thing that some people may think I've 'outgrown', well ya about don't grow out of traveling; you grow in it and through it.  Therefore, to further my education as a person living on this earth, I already have some travel plans in mind that will work with my schedule as a student.

One last thing that just cannot be left out, there are some things that I can be completely certain about.  You know what and who I am talking about.
